What is Concrete Staining?

Stains are reactive liquids designed to color concrete using a chemical reaction. They penetrate the pores of your concrete, and therefore don’t chip off or peel. They create a mottled-look effect, and not a monochromatic opaque color like paint does. Finally, they are the most affordable way to make your concrete beautiful and make your house more marketable.

How We Stain Concrete

Pressure Washing

1. Surface Prep

As with anything construction-related, the most important part of staining is the prep. If your surface is not clean and porous, it will not sufficiently accept the stain.

Spraying Stain

2. Spraying the Stain

Concrete stains could be hard to control because of their chemical reaction with your concrete. Yet, a skillfull hand behind the sprayer is, nonetheless, essential for outstanding results.

Sealing concrete

3. Protecting the Stain with Sealer

Stains can’t chip or peel away, however, they could fade overtime due to excessive UV radiation. Therefore, applying the right sealer for the job is imperative for durability.
